At THE HANGOUT, your children are the focus. Every kid deserves Jewish education that speaks to them.
Every day, we engage students in a ridiculously cool way, flipping Jewish education on its head and fostering Jewish identity in our students, including those from unaffiliated and interfaith families.
DAILY SAMPLE SCHEDULE
School Pick-Up – THE HANGOUT van will pick up your child(ren) from school and bring them to our campus.

Welcome & Snack - When children walk through our doors, they get time to unwind while they catch up with friends and teachers over healthy snacks.

Community Time - Building community is one of the most important things at THE HANGOUT. Every day, all students and teachers come together to check in on one another, celebrate birthdays, learn new Hebrew words, sing Jewish songs, and more.

Activities - Hebrew and Jewish learning is a blast at THE HANGOUT! Children learn about Jewish values, holidays, and Hebrew through STEAM activities, art, drama, sports, games, and play.

Homework/Reading/Board Games - Children complete their homework at THE HANGOUT with the support of our teachers, while children without homework enjoy quiet time through reading or board games.

Free Play - Children will enjoy the many facilities at our campus to meet their physical and social needs after school, including playground, indoor gym, hiking, and soccer.
Friday is Shabbat Time – On Friday we all come together to celebrate Shabbat by blessing the candles, grape juice, and challah. On this day our activities will focus on Jewish values: we may decorate cards for sick children, pack hygiene kits for the homeless, or tend to the garden – all of which are connected to different Jewish values and/or Shabbat.
